Hi there, I'm Julie and I threw my scale away when I topped out at 189...I just couldn't bare to look at it anymore. 

Since I was 18 (I'm now 51!) I have dieted...

I counted all the calories/points

Researched food before going to a restaurant

I wore the heart rate monitor and got in

THE FAT BURNING ZONE  for months

😭🀯😩πŸ€ͺ

I ate no carbs, I ate low carbs

Keto, Paleo, Macros

I ate 2 meals a day

I ate 6 small meals a day

And hello if I had given 100% to each thing for enough time to know and it still didn't work then it had to be me! I was broken, I wasn't able to ever succeed.

Or at least that's I said to myself along with:

"Are you really going to post THAT online...look at that body post the one of just your face YUCK!"

"You're never gonna be good enough to..."

"Why do you even bother, you'll always be a butterball"

"You're gonna wear a bathing suit, who wants to see THAT in a bathing suit?!"

 

I was really good at masking my inner pain. But, years ago I laid down my sword, I was tired of fighting myself. 

I was exhausted all the time.

My business was suffering

My relationships were suffering. 

 

Something was broken but it wasn't what I thought.  When I began to open up to healing internally, releasing

unprocessed emotions tied to old childhood traumas, bullying and also the unknown layers of protective emotions and mindsets something excited began to happen!

I began to change my internal dialogue. 

 

I started tracking my small wins...
🌟My confidence began to improve
🌟I was able to believe I deserved success in my life
🌟I put down the diet plans and learned to listen to my body signals around food
🌟I stopped obsessing that I just hadn't found the right one
🌟I started to make peace with my reflection
 

When I started I couldn't look at myself in a full length mirror without cringing.  I would get angry/sad/mad when I would see full body pictures of myself. 

 

But now I can say "I love you and I am

open to liking every part of you."

I can thank my body for all of the things it does for me EVERY SINGLE DAY that I had not even noticed before.

You may think that could never happen for you...

and that's ok - it's just where you are right now!
